A busy Dunwoody road reopened Friday afternoon after crews finished fixing a 6-inch water main break.
Chamblee Dunwoody Road, which had been closed from Roberts to Spalding drives, reopened shortly after 4 p.m. Water service was restored earlier, but the road had remained off-limits as crews backfilled and cleaned up the area.
Fewer than 75 water customers were affected by the break, the city of Dunwoody said.
Early Friday, crews were working in and around a large hole that had been dug near the intersection of Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Harris Circle. The city said the break occurred at 5800 Harris Circle.
