Let’s talk jobs.
The U.S. subsidiary of a Korean magnet manufacturer will invest $223 million into building its first U.S. facility in Columbus, according to Gov. Brian Kemp’s office. JS Link America pledged to create more than 520 jobs by 2027. The facility will be used to build rare earth magnets, a type of permanent magnet, which are a critical component for automobiles, wind turbines, elevators and data centers.
