All lanes of I-285 East have reopened after a multi-car crash near the I-85 exit shut down the busy highway Wednesday evening.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on the north side of the Perimeter near Spaghetti Junction, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. Lanes were reopened about an hour later, but serious delays persisted and traffic remained slow more than two hours after the wreck.

Authorities have not released any information about the crash, including whether anyone was hurt.

No other details have been released about the wreck, though two overturned cars could be seen in photos from the scene. One of the cars was towing a U-Haul trailer, which was jackknifed behind it in the crash.
