Georgia’s legislative session is over and Gov. Brian Kemp has made his decisions.

Here are the major bills from the 2025 Legislative session that became laws.

The General Assembly operates in two-year cycles. Bills that did not pass this session can still be considered in next year’s session. For a bill to become law, it must pass both the House and Senate and avoid a veto from the governor.
