MIAMI — The Braves announced their 2026 schedule Tuesday, a 162-game slate that will see the team open at home for the first time since 2022.
The Braves will open the 2026 season at home against the Royals on March 26. It’s the start of a six-game homestand against Kansas City and the Sacramento A’s. This marks just the third time the Braves have celebrated opening day at Truist Park, which opened in 2017.
The 2026 slate will feature the Braves playing each of the 29 other clubs, continuing MLB’s recent shift into a balanced schedule that started in 2023. The Braves will play one three-game series against every American League team except Boston, whom they’ll face in two three-game series in May.
The Braves will end with a road-heavy schedule that includes 15 of their final 24 games away from Atlanta. The Braves will end their home slate Sept. 22-24 against the Reds and end the regular season Sept. 25-27 in Miami.
The Braves will have home games on Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-24 vs. Nationals), Father’s Day (June 21 vs. Brewers) and the Fourth of July (vs. Mets).
After an underwhelming 2025 campaign in which the team will almost certainly miss the postseason for the first time in seven seasons, the Braves will be trying to bounce back.
They’ll return the core of their team, which includes talents like MVP winner Ronald Acuña Jr., Cy Young winner Chris Sale and All-Stars such as Matt Olson, Austin Riley and Spencer Strider.
Game times and team promotions will be announced at a later time. More information about the Braves’ schedule can be found on the team website.
