A tractor-trailer overturned and spilled gasoline across I-85 South in DeKalb County, causing several lanes to close for three hours during Friday’s morning commute.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. before Exit 91 to Clairmont Road approaching Brookhaven, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. DeKalb police said no one was hurt, but two drivers reported damage to their vehicles.

Police did not say what caused the truck to tip.

Only two right lanes were getting by throughout much of the ordeal. At one point, all lanes were closed, including the northbound side.

The interstate started reopening around 8:30 a.m., but delays lingered throughout the morning rush.
