Atlanta United selected two players and received some cash in last week’s MLS draft.

The Five Stripes received $400,000 in general allocation money after dropping from No. 2 in the order to No. 12 in a trade with Dallas. The team will receive $350,000 in 2026 and $50,000 in 2027.

Atlanta United selected midfielder Enzo Dovlo with the No. 12 pick. Dovlo scored 15 goals with 13 assists in 56 appearances for North Carolina-Greensboro. Dovlo is a native of Paris. He was named third-team All-American this season.

They selected winger Noah James with its next pick, 62nd in the draft.

James, a California native, scored 10 goals with 11 assists in a collegiate career that included playing for Western Michigan and San Diego.

Very few of Atlanta United’s draft picks have played for the first team in league matches. Among the players who appeared in a meaningful number of matches are Miles Robinson, Julian Gressel, Jon Gallagher, Aiden McFadden and Jayden Hibbert.
